Not able to run examples from apache-servicemix-4.4.1-fuse-01-06

I am trying to run examples from apache-servicemix-4.4.1-fuse-01-06\examples\cxf-osgi but getting following error. I am trying this from my desktop in office and I am not sure if any proxy is being used.

Hi,

When you build that example, it need download artifacts from fuse maven repo automatically.

If your machine have internet access, then this error could be that the fuse maven repo isn't  reachable  temporarily, in this case just try it again, the fuse maven repo is ok from my side now.

I do have the internet access.

I tried to build the example but I am still facing the same issue.

Hi,

Could you open a browser and see if you can open this link[1] in browser.

If it's ok in browser, you need check if you have set some proxy in your maven setting.xml

I do not have any proxy settings in maven settings.xml.

But the browser uses system proxy settings. Looks like I will need to add the proxy setting in setting.xml Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

If you have restricted internet access, something like you are behind a firewall, need proxy to access the internet, then you also need configure the proxy in maven setting.xml
