Fuse IDE install always hangs at 46%

When I attempt to install Fuse IDE into Eclipse, the installation always hangs at 46%.  I am running Win XP SP3, Eclipse Platform 3.6.2, JDK version 6.0_32.  In Eclipse I select Help > Install > http://repo.fusesource.com/ide/ > Fuse IDE.  The Installing Software status never gets past 46%, and this message keeps flashing: "Fetching org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core_1.1.203.v20110201.j...rg.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core_1.1.203.v20110201.jar.pack.gz".

      Any suggestions?

Eventually (after maybe a half hour), the install process times out and displays:

"An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

          session context was:(profile=epp.package.java, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).

Comparison method violates its general contract!

Fuse IDE 2.1 is being released later this month.

I suggest to try it out, there is a beta release for download.

What is new is there is a one-stop download, which includes Eclipse + Fuse IDE, making installation much easier. So you dont have to use the Eclipse Plugin Updates.

There is a Fuse IDE beta tab at

            http://fusesource.com/products/fuse-ide/

I suggest to try and use that.

And 2.1 is a lot improved over 2.0.
