Hi,

I have some general questions about the FuseSource stacks.

Does Fuse IDE 2.1 work without Fuse ESB Enterprise 7?  Or what features on Fuse IDE will not work without Fuse ESB Enterprise?

Since now Fuse ESB Enterprise has a totally different version, is Fuse ESB still going to keep up with the version change of ServiceMix?

Are there any defferent features between Fuse ESB (NOT Enterprise) and ServiceMix?  What are the deciding factors in choosing between Fuse ESB and ServiceMix?

Yes Fuse IDE is an Eclipse based tooling. You can run it without having to use/run any other Fuse products.

Fuse IDE can be used with the Apache products as well, eg Apache ServiceMix, Camel, CXF, AMQ, Karaf etc. So you can develop Camel apps and deploy and run in SMX. And use Fuse IDE to developer, deploy, visualize at runtime etc.

Yes the regular Fuse ESB is being continued as is. We will continue to develop/support/release/etc this product.
