1. Re: Create root container using SSH on linux from FMC running on Windows
stlewis Jul 17, 2012 9:18 AM (in response to alstsever_alain.saint-sever)Nope, FMC can run on a Windows host and create containers via SSH on Linux hosts. Be sure your Linux host has everything under "Requirements" listed here. Also be sure you have the path set to JAVA_HOME/bin in either /etc/profile or your user account's ~/.profile, as the script is executed in a non-login shell, meaning ~/.bashrc isn't sourced when the script is executed to create the new container.
Also the Linux host will need internet access to download the .tar.gz, otherwise you need to specify a proxy URL to an internal Nexus or repo so the script can download the fuse-fabric .tar.gz to the Linux host.

alstsever_alain.saint-sever Jul 17, 2012 9:24 AM (in response to stlewis)I checked the requirements and you're right: it appears Curl is not installed so it may explain my issue. I'll give it a test as soon as possible.
Thanks Stan.
