I'm searching for a way to manager/control (i.e. start/stop) a set of Java/C++ applications running in separate standalone processes. I came across FuseSource ProcessManager and it appeared to have the features that I'm looking for. Can someone please confirm if I'm on the right path? If so, what is MINIMUM bundle/downloads I would need? I would like it to be as light-weight as possible. Thank you in advance for your help.
Yes there is a process manager as part of fuse fabric

At

Though in terms of light-weight then you would need fuse fabric, and to run it in the Karaf container.
