XML streaming and split

I need to stream a large xml file. split it and ummarshall . Split is needed at multiple xpath level for header and body. What is best way to do it? I am tied with camel 2.7 so can not use camel-stax.

Thanks Claus. My limitation is that I am working with camel 2.7 . I can not use stax as It needs 2.9 . Is there something for  2.7 version of camel?

No but you can try using camel-stax with your camel 2.7 anyway. Some components works fine with older versions of camel-core.
