Hi,
I'm researching Wildfly because I want to be able to redeploy a web app with zero downtime. I currently have nginx+Jetty and I can't do this. I've watched the demo with two servers, one shuts down and sessions move to surviving server. That's what I want. Can I do it without Apache? I haven't used that server in years so I'd prefer to use nginx or something within Wildfly itself as the load balancer. Possible?
This article says it's possible, but I can't find documentation on how to do it. http://www.infoq.com/news/2014/02/wildfly8-interview. "with Undertow WildFly can now function as an efficient non-blocking reverse proxy without the need for Apache or Nginx".
thanks,
Rob
Nginx works just fine. you just wont be able to use mod_cluster but you probably wont miss that.
