I have a 3rd party application that has been deployed using the management console in JBoss EAP 6 (6.2). The documentation of the application indicates to change a file called settings.xml and whilst it indicates what needs to be changed in the file it doesn't provide instructions how to do it. Although I can locate the file in the temporary file system which jboss has extracted it to and change the contents, the file itself will revert back to the original one once the server is restarted. So is there a way of changing such a file on the fly and/or able to preserve the changes from one instantiation of JBoss to another? Thanks for any advice in regards to this problem.
