a4j:jsFunction - oncomplete executing twice after migating RF 4.3.7 > RF 4.5 Beta1

Hello,

I'm currently testing RF 4.5 Beta 1. I have noticed that oncomplete in a4j:jsFunction executes twice.

Here is a simple example to reproduce the issue.

<a4j:jsFunction id="js1" name="test"
  execute="@this"
  oncomplete="alert(++count)"  />


<h:outputScript>
  var count = 0;
</h:outputScript>

I tried your sample with RichFaces 4.5.0-SNAPSHOT and it works fine, i.e. oncomplete is executed only once (in FF 32). Please try to upgrade RF to 4.5.0.Beta2.

Thanks for the answer. Where can i get the 4.5.0 Beta2 jars please ? It 's not accessible from the site and i don't use maven...

4.5.0.Beta2 release hasn't been announced yet but meanwhile you can download distribution from Index of /groups/public/org/richfaces/richfaces-distribution/4.5.0.Beta2

i do reproduce the bug with RF 4.5 Beta2. Here is the xml response. Could it be due to my jsf implementation ? i use myfaces 2.2.4. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I can confirm that it is called twice with MyFaces 2.2.4. Please report an issue in RichFaces - JBoss Issue Tracker.
