1. Re: Return exit code from standalone.bat file
wdfink Sep 17, 2014 7:56 AM (in response to paresh.varke)The standalone.bat file is for starting the server in foreground. The Java process is started and it will wait until it is finished (server stopped).
Why do you want a start script? Maybe you need to run the server as a windows service?

Actually i am using GO server for CI-CD. I need to start jboss server using a task of pipeline.
FYI in GO server the structure is like :
pipeline
stages
jobs
task.
And pipeline needs exit code, from script which will be executed through task, to change it's own status to COMPLETED from EXECUTING.
Maybe you need to run the server as a windows service?
Yes.

if you install the service you should be able to control the service by windows commands (sorry I'm not the Win expert here)
