WebFilter in a .war Switchyard deployment

Greetings all,

We are deploying our switchyard deployments as .war files and we would like to implement an @WebFilter to do some logging but I can't seem to get it to work. I originally had it defined in a separate .jar take ended up in the lib directory of the .war but that did not work. So I moved the code into the .war itself and still no joy. Should I not be able to do this?

I have also tried an annotated Provider for my Rest service with no success.

Hi,

I believe it's because the @WebFilter belongs to and is only effective within the context path of the .war containing it, which is really different from the context paths generated by the SwitchYard gateway bindings in the .war. For instance, xxx.war will create the context path "/xxx", but a SOAP binding with context path "/soap" in xxx.war will create anotehr context path "/soap".
