JBoss Dev Studio - hot deploy of static content in war in ear

I am deploying an ear file that contains a war file into JBoss EAP 6.2.4.GA (AS 7.3.4.Final-redhat-1).

Is it possible to edit an html or css file that is in the war file and have the change reflected in the browser without having to redeploy the ear that contains the war file with the change to the static content?

try making auto-deploy-exploded = true in your standalone.xml..

If you mean the content inside the war of your ear deployed via jboss tools - then yes, jboss tools deploys content exploded by default which will be picked up by the server without restarting the module.
