Richfaces 4.5.* static-resource-mappings.properties doesn't work properly with jquery replacement

Hi there,

This is my first post in this community, so please tell me if I post some bullshit.. :-)

In richfaces 4.3.*  I had a static-resource-mappings.properties in the META-INF/richfaces folder with the following content.

jquery.js=my-newer-jquery-version.js

So every time richfaces needed to load jquery the used my version. With Richfaces 4.5.0.CR1, there is a different behaviour.

Somehow the original jquery Version gets always loaded.

I don't  if it's a bug or if there is some different behavior on purpose?

Please help me out.

Hi,

I'm not aware of any changes in resource mapping so it looks like a bug. Could you please report a bug in RichFaces - JBoss Issue Tracker?

Hi,

we've moved a few resources around, jquery.js is now under resources/org.richfaces. The updated properties should look like this:

org.richfaces\:jquery.js=another-jquery-version.js

Mind you, we've upgraded to jQuery v1.11.1 in 4.5.0

Thank you guys for the fast answers. It is working now by changing of the resource path.

Could you might update this in the developer guide? In point 5.4.3.2. Examples of resource mapping.
