Jira Versions vs. Github Releases

Hello,

I can see that on the HornetQ Github releases page (Releases · hornetq/hornetq · GitHub) there is a source tarball for "HornetQ_2_4_4_Final".  Right now, when I look at Jira release 2.4.4 it has 8 out of 73 issues resolved, so it appears to be some way off being complete.

I was expecting the version numbers used between the two systems to be in sync.  Is this case a mistake or am I misunderstanding the HornetQ project's usage of version numbers here?

They will be in sync, but not until the release. some of those remaining issues will be postponed until the next release, its just we havent done that yet
