How to restrict a war inside an ear to a specific interface?

Hello,

I want to restrict the administration UI of my ear to a specific administration interface. On the "normal" interface it should not be visible.

The setup of the new interface went smooth, now I am fiddling with restricting the war to the interface and excluding the other wars from this interface.

Basically like wildfly does with its own management interface.

How can I do that?

configure extra <server name="restricted"> element in undertow subsystem

and add listeners, hosts configuration to it.

then add jboss-web.xml to WEB-INF of your admin war.

with content like

<jboss-web version="8.0" xmlns="http://www.jboss.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

  xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/schema/jboss-web_8_0.xsd">

  <server-instance>restricted</server-instance> 

</jboss-web>

This will tell deployment to be bound to "restricted" server instead of the default one.
