1. Re: "UT000004: getResponseChannel() has already been called" issue with "Expect:100-continue"
ctomc Oct 9, 2014 3:35 PM (in response to x046866x)We have 8.2 in works.
you can give it a try by building 8.x branch from github https://github.com/wildfly/wildfly/tree/8.x
build is as simple as running
./build.sh|bat -DskipTests from root folder
or if you have maven installed
just do mvn clean install -DskipTests

x046866x Oct 10, 2014 5:42 AM (in response to x046866x)It appears that I may have spoken too soon; I am receiving the "UT000004" error and the client is NOT sending the "Expect" header. Any other clues? This is a Wildfly deal breaker!

You get that with 8.2.0.CR1-SNAPSHOT that you build yourself?

x046866x Oct 10, 2014 7:08 AM (in response to ctomc)I have not had a chance to try that yet....when is 8.2.0 ready for prime time? We are releasing in November and I'd hate to have to step back to JBoss 7.x

x046866x Oct 10, 2014 10:14 AM (in response to x046866x)Tomaz (or anyone else reading this),
.NET solicitors will be sending the "Expect: 100-continue" by default. The way to turn that off is:
System.Net.ServicePointManager.Expect100Continue = false;
or, for an individual request:
var req = (HttpWebRequest) WebRequest.Create(...);
req.ServicePoint.Expect100Continue = false;
This workaround works for us only because we know the client (and there is only one). If you have a public facing service you may have some challenges.
