1 of 1 people found this helpfulBundle org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.hive.ui can be found in the Kepler-based target platform for JBoss Tools (not JBDS) here:
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/kepler/
Simply add that URL to Eclipse or JBDS via Window > Preferences > Install/Update > Available Software Sites > Add...
Then OK out of that dialog and try the install again. (You can also find that preferences page under Help > Install New Software > "Available Software Sites".)
If you discover you're missing other IUs, you can also try adding this target platform site to help resolve more missing content:
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbdsistarget/kepler/

By the way, one great way to see what features/plugins/bundles/IUs are on an update site, or to search 1 or more sites for a specific IU, is the p2 browser. VERY handy tool.

1 of 1 people found this helpful- For standard eclipse, eg. eclipse-rcp-kepler-SR2-linux-gtk-x86_64 (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-rcp-and-rap-developers/keplersr2)
- The instruction on the teiid designer downloads page should get you up and running (Download & Install - JBoss Community). In quick summary:
- Download and install Eclipse
- Add http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/release/kepler/integration-stack/ as an available software update site
- In the Install New Software window, select Data Virtualization and click Next>
- This should install all the necessary dependencies, including org.jboss.ide.eclipse.as.feature and org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.hive.ui
- The instruction on the teiid designer downloads page should get you up and running (Download & Install - JBoss Community). In quick summary:
- For JBDS 7.1.1.GA, the birt feature seems to have been missed out and there is a bug for this already reported here. However, the teiid designer downloads page also details a couple of workarounds for this:
- Add http://download.eclipse.org/birt/update-site/4.3 as an extra update site;
- As detailed in standard eclipse instructions (above), add http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/release/kepler/integration-stack/ as an extra update site.
- Both of these update sites will provide the missing birt dependencies and ensure Teiid Designer installs successfully.
- For standard eclipse, eg. eclipse-rcp-kepler-SR2-linux-gtk-x86_64 (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-rcp-and-rap-developers/keplersr2)

I recommend you use JBoss Tools and manual installs if you want to use latest greatest, not yet tested with devstudio versions of Teiid.
In JBoss Tools we recently enabled "early access" of the Integration stack on the JBoss Central software/update page. Please try this and let us know how that works.

Now I am trying to configure Teiid server in my project. Documentation and tutorial video says, got to 'Teiid' view. How do I open 'Teiid' view? There is no 'Teiid' view is the show view list.

Hey,
Looks like the documentation is referring to what was the old 'Teiid View' which is now in fact the 'Servers View'. The Servers View is not unique to Teiid but provides a view on all configured Jboss servers.
