Swimlane issue - anyone can claim the task

Hi,

I have a swimlane process which contains two user tasks (picture below). I assigned two groups to the process "testing1" and "testing2". All users were assigned to both group.

• User task "testing1" assigned to "testing1"
• User task "testing2" assigned to "testing2"

If user katy run the first task "testing1", I would expect no other user can claim task "testing2" but in this case any other user can claim task "testing2". Does anyone know if there is something that I have done incorrectly?

that is correct, all users from group testing2 can still claim it although to be able to claim it task needs to be in state ready. Swimlane runtime support is to auto assign user who completed first task to other tasks in same swimlane. The auto assign means claiming directly then the task was created. So second task should be directly in state reserved. Isn't that happening for you?

Thanks for your response. I changed the process and had user "testing1" and "testing2" assigned to the same group and now I am hitting this issue https://developer.jboss.org/message/906170#906170. I will update jbpm-console.war to CR1.
