Deployment Failed

Application server is up but the application deployment failed and showing the below error message in the startup logs.

03:14:02,259 ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (DeploymentScanner-threads - 2) Operation ("add") failed - address: ([("deployment" => "icapi.ear")]) - failure description: "JBAS014803: Duplicate resource [(\"deployment\" => \"icapi.ear\")]"

03:14:02,261 ERROR [org.jboss.as.server.deployment.scanner] (DeploymentScanner-threads - 1) JBAS014654: Composite operation was rolled back

03:14:02,262 ERROR [org.jboss.as.server.deployment.scanner] (DeploymentScanner-threads - 1) {"JBAS014653: Composite operation failed and was rolled back. Steps that failed:" => {"Operation step-1" => "JBAS014803: Duplicate resource [(\"deployment\" => \"icapi.ear\")]"}}

1. Just updated a port number in one of the xml file

2. repacked the ear file using ant command

3. Stopped the server and copied the ear file in deployment folder

4. Start the Application server.

Please help me on this.

There error message says Duplicate resource.  If you have configured any DS or other resources, you might have to undeploy them and then deploy your application.

I have configured DS in our application. Even before copying the new ear file i removed old ear file from the deployment folder and removed "deployed" mark file as well.

Now the issue is resolved. I repackaged the ear file once again using with proper content only. Then did the same way to deploy which i done in earlier. It is sucessfully deployed
