forge's GUI is not running ?

Hi there.

I have installed JBoss Developper Studio 7.1.1 GA under Linux Ubuntu 14.0

I tried to initialise a new projet, and after selection this project, I used the Ctrl+4 shortcut in order to start the Forge's GUI.

But nothing on the screen.

I found the way to start up the "Line command" Forge, but I would like to use the GUI instead.

Please help me. It seems to be easier to use Forge for developing.

First recommandaton would be that you give a try to the more recent and more powerful JBoss Developer Studio 8.0: http://www.jboss.org/download-manager/file/jboss-devstudio-8.0.0.GA-jar_universal.jar

Hi,

JBoss Developer Studio 7.1.1.GA ships with Forge 1. If you want to use all the nice GUI features of Forge 2 please use the new JBoss Developer Studio 8 as recommended by Mickael.

Forge 1 is basically the console. There are some wizards burried inside eclipse but you can't trigger them using the Ctrl+4 command.
What I believe you are looking for is Forge 2.
