1. Re: Errai Security Dependencies Causes Errors From All JAX-RS Endpoints ??
chaluwa Nov 3, 2014 10:36 AM (in response to chaluwa)I just realized that these errors only come up if I add the errai-security module dependencies in my pom.xml file. I mean even without the required module entry in my gwt.xml file. I am stuck. Here is what I am doing : http://ur1.ca/ioin5

csa Nov 3, 2014 2:30 PM (in response to chaluwa)1 of 1 people found this helpfulHi Charles,
Here's a Stack Overflow link describing the problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15603662/asynchronousdispatcher-error
You will need to make sure that resteasy/jaxrs is not deployed as part of your war/ear. To do this set the following dependencies to provided in your pom.xml.
org.jboss.resteasy:jaxrs-api
org.jboss.resteasy:resteasy-cdi
org.jboss.errai:errai-security-clien
Cheers,
Christian

3. Re: Errai Security Dependencies Causes Errors From All JAX-RS Endpoints ??
chaluwa Nov 6, 2014 8:50 AM (in response to csa)Thanks Christian, I did a simple search in my pom file (with eclipse find-and-replace dialog) and could only find one dependency entry containing resteasy and it was under the <dependencies> tag under the jboss7 profile. Thing is that its already set to "provided", and the errai-security dependency is also set to "provided". So am wondering what next to do. Here is my entire pom.xml file : http://ur1.ca/ipph2

4. Re: Errai Security Dependencies Causes Errors From All JAX-RS Endpoints ??
chaluwa Nov 9, 2014 2:00 AM (in response to chaluwa)Like Christian Sadilek said, I needed to set the scope for org.jboss.resteasy:jaxrs-api to provided but I did not know how to go about it. running mvn dependency:tree revealed that org.jboss.resteasy:jaxrs-api was a transitive dependency of errai-security-server and it was set to compile scope, so I added a new dependency declaration for org.jboss.resteasy:jaxrs-api just above the dependency declaration for errai-security-server and set mine to provided scope.
