Please help asap! error while trying to build the infinispan quick start example...

Hi All,

I am trying to build and deploy the quick start example of infinispan 7.0.0.Final.

I got the relevant codebase from the github

When I build using maven in my FuseIDE / JBossDevStudio, I get the following error...

Where do you download the quickstarts? Or did you use github?

For me it works. Looks like a issue to get a connection to the correct maven repository "Unknown host cis-americas-pitc-cinciz.proxy.corporate.ge.com"

Could you check your maven settings and show your configuration?

Hi Wolf / All,

This is where I downloaded the example from...

infinispan-quickstart/embedded-cache at master · infinispan/infinispan-quickstart · GitHub

I am using FuseIDE.

I was able to build the project successfully.

How do I execute it to see the output?

I see main method in all the 4 java files present in it.

Please help. I want to understand this logic...

the main class infinispan-quickstart/DefaultCacheQuickstart.java make sense, it shows how to create a cache, add entries w/o lifespan and check whether the action is successful.

There is no output. The other classes simply show how to create a cache 'only'.

You may look to the documentation link inside the README to understand how it works.
