You can open the JIRA, but it would be nice to know if it's strictly CMIS-related or it has something to do with parsing XPATH queries.

but If I'll use the xPath, I build the query self, which means I will be able to escape the literal path.
The problem seems to be in the generation of path by using of folder object id, only.
