Is jBPM suited for this kind of usage?

Hi everybody,

As stated in the title, I'd like to know if jBPM is suited for :

- monitoring services' status (for example, let's say 'MyWindowsService' has stopped running, we send an email with said service)

- monitoring folders' size (for example, if the folder 'D:\MyFolder''s size goes beyond 10MB, then we send an alert)

I would say not really, jBPM is not a monitoring solution though you could implement processes to do such thing but I would say it would be like reinventing a wheel. Take a look at other projects such as RHQ that does monitoring of various resources including windows service and file system utilization.
