ctomc Dec 6, 2014 9:06 PM (in response to mazz)First proper builds of core distro are from 9 on, 8.x just have it as POC and as such few things don't work OOTB.
can you check with 9.0.0.Alpha1?

bradleyross Dec 16, 2014 11:00 AM (in response to mazz)Please disregard the following. It turns out there was a typo in one of the environmental variables on Windows.
With regard to the original problem, what version of Java are you using to run the command. Check the value of JAVA_HOME environmental variable. I'm still wondering about some of the parameters for the Java command.

I think that I am having a similar problem with AS 7.1.1.Final when I try running add-user.batThe end of the file is
rem Setup JBoss specific properties
rem Setup the java endorsed dirs
set JBOSS_ENDORSED_DIRS=%JBOSS_HOME%\lib\endorsedrem Set default module root paths
if "x%JBOSS_MODULEPATH%" == "x" (
set "JBOSS_MODULEPATH=%JBOSS_HOME%\modules"
)"%JAVA%" ^
-jar "%JBOSS_HOME%\jboss-modules.jar" ^
-mp "%JBOSS_MODULEPATH%" ^
org.jboss.as.domain-add-user ^
%*:END
if "x%NOPAUSE%" == "x" pauseHowever, there is no mp parameter for Java. I'm assuming that I'm supposed to call a Java class contained in jboss-modeules.jar that will use "%JBOSS_MODULEPATH%", org.jboss.as.domain-add-user and %* as parameters. What is "%*"?
