1. Re: Problem migrating from Richfaces 4.3.7.Final to Richfaces 4.5.0.Final
ppitonak Dec 10, 2014 9:02 AM (in response to lordalucard7545)Hi,
are you using EhCache in you project? If yes, try to add richfaces-cache-bom to your pom.xml as in [1] or make sure that it is in version 2.8.3 as defined in [2]. What application server do you use? BTW, there is RichFaces 4.5.1.Final available

Pavol

ppitonak Dec 11, 2014 7:58 AM (in response to lordalucard7545)I'm not sure where a problem might be. Can you try to build and deploy a simple application?
mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=org.richfaces.archetypes -DarchetypeArtifactId=richfaces-archetype-simpleapp -DarchetypeVersion=4.5.1.Final -DgroupId=com.example -DartifactId=example -Dversion=1.0.0-SNAPSHOT
deploy "target/example-jee6.war"

5. Re: Problem migrating from Richfaces 4.3.7.Final to Richfaces 4.5.0.Final
lordalucard7545 Jan 22, 2015 3:46 AM (in response to lordalucard7545)2 of 2 people found this helpfulHi,
I finally fixed the problem, I added the servlet mapping resources or richfaces in my web.xml because im using ( webshepre application server v7) :
<servlet>
<servlet-name>Resource Servlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.richfaces.webapp.ResourceServlet</servlet-class>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup></servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>Resource Servlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/org.richfaces.resources/*</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
PS : we do not need to add this servlet in web.xml file when working with STS, because tomcat saves the resources mapping of richfaces...
Thanks for ur help,
