1. Re: Teiid version on Jboss server not same as installed runtime
rareddy Jan 22, 2015 7:36 AM (in response to lmann99)Leslie,
Can can safely ignore that. We only build "web-console" project only when there are any issues are features fixed/added, and version number as it designed currently takes static string for version. The last time we built it was around 8.7 release time, thus the display. BTW, if you want to fix your install you can edit "modules/system/layers/base/org/jboss/as/product/main/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF" file and update the version and restart the server.
As per the Designer issue, they are not related. Designer sometime just does not work with later versions of the Teiid runtime than it is designed for. The error you are seeing, should only visibile only when you are using newer version of the Designer with older version of Teiid runtime than it is designed. But, looks like in your case that is not case as the latest stable version of Teiid as of date is Teiid 8.9.1. So, that must be a bug or designer when it sees version does not match automatically shows that error. What version of Designer are you using?

Thanks, that makes sense. Also, I couldn't figure out where that value was coming from so thanks for identifying where it is configured.
I'm running Designer 9.0 and have just updated to 9.0.1
