Has anyone come across c-jdbc? (http://c-jdbc.objectweb.org/)
This provides a kind of RAID like service for databases. They like to refer to it as RAIDb.
I was wondering if it would make sense to build it into JBoss to provide a database clustering capability. A controller sits between a special c-jdbc driver and the end database servers. Possibly a good candidate for a SAR which would start up and be managed as a jboss service. This with the cache on top would give a complete cluster solution.
Any comments?
