RichFaces and JSF 2.3

JavaEE 8 is coming soon introducing JSF 2.3

Are there any plans to support JSF 2.3 in future releases of RichFaces?

Hi Sergey,

JavaEE 8 is planned to be finished in Q3 2016 so it gives us some time We are not aware of any breaking changes in JSF 2.3 so it should work with existing applications without changes. However, we haven't started testing it yet so we cannot be 100% sure. We will test it as soon as possible. Meanwhile, feel free to try it out and report any issues you discover.
