Switch Yard Installers

Following are the latest downloads:

I have wildfly-8.2.0.Final installed and i am in the process of learning SOA. I am not sure which distribution to install as i don't know the differences between the following distributions. I also have installed EAP 6.3  but i don't plan to use it as I thinking if i understood it correctly they are pretty much the same but differ based on the community they serve.  Please correct my understanding if it is wrong.

Now what is the difference between the installer and the Beta1 versions. Bottom line i don't get what the different distributions are for.

If you are using Wildfly 8.0 or 8.1, use switchyard-installer-wildfly-2.0.0.Beta1.  If you are using EAP 6.3, then use switchyard-installer-eap-2.0.0.Beta1.

Thank you for the response. I am using Wildfly 8.2.0 and i believe switchyard currently works with as you stated 8.0 and 8.1

The installer will install on top of an installation, preserving your configuration changes, while the zip (no installer) will overlay, so overwrite your configuration.

Hope it is more clear.

If you are using Wildfly 8.2.0 then you won't be able to use SwitchYard.
