Hi,

I am trying to deploy HornetQ REST into a JBoss 6.1.0 environment and am running into issues.  I am doing my best to follow the instructions in the documentation but have been blocked by the error in the title, which is preventing the REST war from deploying.  I am not sure how to debug this error further, are there any other logs that might point me towards the real exception?

My pom.xml, web.xml and log files are attached.

Couple of things:

1. It would be useful to also have your server configuration (e.g. standalone-full.xml).
2. Your pom.xml references HornetQ 2.3.0.Final, but the logs indicate you're using HornetQ 2.2.5.Final.  I think that's likely to be problematic.
3. Why not move to a more recent release of the application server (e.g. JBoss EAP or Wildfly)?

Hi Justin,

You were correct the problem was the mismatch of HornetQ versions.Once I moved my HornetQ version down to match JBoss everything begin to work

The reason we are using such an old version is to reproduce the environment at a business partner, so unfortunately we are stuck with the older version for now
