Can Wildfly ejb client make remote call to ejb deployed in jboss 4.2 server??

I am migrating some of our applications from jboss 4.2 to wildfly 8.0. But we can't migrate all our applications as some customer may not upgrade .

The application i am migrating to wildfly makes remote jndi calls to ejbs deployed on jboss 4.2 server .

Is this possible?? I mean is it  possible for ejb deployed on wildfly to make remote call using jndi to ejb deployed on jboss 4.2.
