1. Re: how to custom safe point on a process model
swiderski.maciej Mar 24, 2015 2:37 AM (in response to antonio.giambanco)what do you mean by performance improves? This actually does not have much sense as timer means that there will be two transactions involved which is mainly the heaviest operation within engine execution - handle transaction and db interaction.

antonio.giambanco Mar 24, 2015 5:33 AM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Hi Maciej
sorry I was not clear, I mean process creation performance . . .
I have embedded my process inside an application that can create many instances of the process per second.
Doing some load test the creation of the process takes seconds, since I don't need to know the result of the process I placed a safe point gettiong fast creations.

3. Re: how to custom safe point on a process model
swiderski.maciej Mar 25, 2015 12:50 PM (in response to antonio.giambanco)in that case you will get the thread that started process instance released quicker but the processing time itself is same. It just allows you to put the further execution in background. For that I'd go more for async protocol to start process instances in first place like JMS.

antonio.giambanco Mar 26, 2015 4:40 AM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Thanks Maciej ,
in my case I need to know just the result of the first task. Using JMS I don't if the first task had problems or not.
