1. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
dgolovin Apr 6, 2015 1:49 PM (in response to bdshadow)It is eclipse issue. I usually just ignore that errors in .target editor and go directly to eclipse preferences and configure target platform. If it has problems in preferences use "Reload" button. If it fails, push "Edit" and wait until target platform entries get resolved. If you really want to contribute to jboss-hibernate tools, I would suggest you to do for next eclipse Mars release development stream. Latest Mars target platform is available from 4.50.x branch.

2. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
bdshadow Apr 6, 2015 2:45 PM (in response to dgolovin)Denis, thank you for your answer and your advice.
By now, I've been able to successfully work with 4.42.x version. For some reason it hasn't got such errors. However I'' checkout 4.50.x as you advise.

3. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
bdshadow Apr 7, 2015 5:41 PM (in response to dgolovin)Denis, practically everything is great with 4.50.x branch. All dependencies from MANIFEST files were resolved, except two:
org.jboss.tools.common.model (3.7.0)org.jboss.tools.common.model.ui (3.7.0)
I've even launch the Application, but it has lots of FrameworkEvent ERRORs connected with these plugins.

4. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
dgolovin Apr 7, 2015 7:48 PM (in response to bdshadow)Dmitry,
unfortunately it is expected behavior.
Your first option is just remove those two bundles from eclipse workspace. They contain form based editor for mapping (.hbm.xml) and other hibernate related .xml files. But do not remove them from local filesystem if you want maven build to work.
Second option if to fork http://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base.git, clone it to local filesystem and import all bundles form jbosstools-base/foundation/plugins and jbosstools-base/common/plugins into eclipse workspace as well..

5. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
dgolovin Apr 7, 2015 7:58 PM (in response to bdshadow)It is better to use latest the greatest for now, because we're probably not going to release any updates for 4.2.x stream.
For hibernate it means using Eclipse Mars M6 as dev environment and JBoss Tools sources listed below:
1. Target platform definition from 4.50.x branch
2. JBoss Tools Base module from master branch https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base/tree/master
3. JBoss Tools Hibernate module from master branch https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-hibernate/tree/master

6. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
bdshadow Apr 12, 2015 4:55 PM (in response to dgolovin)Denis, thanks a lot. I've got rid of the errors.
If it is a well-known common problem, maybe it's better to document it somewhere?

7. Re: "Unable to locate installable unit <javax.wsdl>" while setting target platform in Luna
dgolovin Apr 14, 2015 12:39 PM (in response to bdshadow)I created JIRA issue to track this (see https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-19590).
