1. Re: JBoss EAP 6.3 servlet url as welcome-file throws Error 404
jaysensharma Apr 6, 2015 3:12 PM (in response to ammar.githam)Try changing the following:
<servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>Home</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/Home</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping>
to
<servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>Home</servlet-name> <url-pattern>Home</url-pattern> <!-- NOTICE: no forward slash there --> </servlet-mapping>
Example attached: A.war
After deploying A.war to EAP 6.3.0 try accessing the URL: http://localhost:8080/A/ You should be able to see the welcome page.

I tried your advise but it didn't work. Still the same error.
Also, I deployed your war file and got the same error.
Here are the screenshots:
When I open localhost:8080/A/
Which version of JBoss are you using?

ammar.githam Apr 13, 2015 5:23 AM (in response to jaysensharma)Hi,
I managed to solve this.
I just restarted the deployment via the management console and it started working correctly with the initial mappings which I had mentioned. Thanks a lot for your help.
