CDI.current().getBeanManager

I obeserved that CDI.current().getBeanManager does not work on a class, which is not in any BDAs. I feel it makes sense. However, I cannot see anything from CDI spec to mandate this. Did I miss anything?

The specification is not clear on what BeanManager should be returned in that case. Anyway, in JBoss AS, WildFly and GF a BeanManager for a the same module (module meaning the same war, ejb jar or ear/lib) is returned.
