sdotlittlenail Apr 16, 2015 9:22 AM (in response to sdotlittlenail)Hello again,
regarding the Assignment of permissions subject.
- modeshape-roles.properties, assign roles
- modeshape-users.properties, assign users and passwords
Quite trivial, Now I know that too....
At least only the topic Multiple logins on Windows Explorer remains

hchiorean Apr 17, 2015 3:24 AM (in response to sdotlittlenail)You can read more about the roles & users properties file in the ModeShape documentation: see Authentication and authorization - ModeShape 3 - Project Documentation Editor and Installing ModeShape into EAP - ModeShape 3 - Project Documentation Editor
The Windows Explorer issue shouldn't have anything to do with ModeShape, since this is most likely a client (Windows Explorer) issue: the ModeShape WebDAV webapp is a standard webapp (Servlet spec) deployed into a server. How Windows manages/allows mapping of remote & local network drivers is outside the scope of ModeShape.

3. Re: WebDAV authorization
sdotlittlenail Apr 20, 2015 9:23 AM (in response to hchiorean)I tried to connect to the WebDAV service via Mac OS X. And indeed, it works without any problems. Seems to be a Windows Explorer configuration problem. At worst, people on Windows have to use a separate WebDAV client.
