Hi Michael,
I reported a similliar issue, but after setting up my project a second time the issue is gone. (See [JBPM-4609] DeploymentSynchronizer fails for CMT on Wildly when using CDI - JBoss Issue Tracker).
The first thing, that came to my mind, that since you used my jar it might cause the problem. But since I didn't my wildfly installation I doubt that it is causing the issue (but perhaps it is better if you check anyway).
I recognized, that the issues was gone after I removed 5 files (one was a duplicate bean.xml, the rest I can't remember).
Could you show your persistence.xml? "do not override hibernate.transaction.factory_class" was something I think I got rid off.
Is it possible you still have the files from the first workaround (which only worked for war type) in your deployment?
Hi Jimmy,
thank you for your message.
I did plenty of modifications to my source code and to the process definition.... The "TransactionRequiredException" does not show any more.
For the time being I would yet recommend to use your enhancement of the "FakeUserTransaction" workaround just to go ahead with the development!
