Index Updater issues in 7.1.1 and 7.2.0 for UserDefined Classes

We have caches enabled in compatibility mode and Indexing is not working as expected. In 7.0.2.Final it was working fine.

Now MassIndexer is not considering user defined classes for Indexing.

Attaching logs of both 7.0.2.Final and 7.2.0.CR1

Configurations and Annotations used are the same in both versions.

Is there any extra configuration check or new Annotation for Indexing classes in 7.1.1 or 7.2.0 versions ?

Please check for keyword Subscriber while Indexing Started.

Workaround in latest version which I figured out is the following after which MassIndexer works but when we have defined our class as @INdexed with field definitions why is this change required in new versions and is this the correct way to resolve this issue or can be done in configuration as well.. Because I have changed nothing but the Infinispan version from 7.0.2.Final to 7.2.0.CR1

SearchMapping mapping = new SearchMapping();

mapping.entity(classType).indexed().providedId() ;

Properties props = new Properties();

props.put(org.hibernate.search.cfg.Environment.MODEL_MAPPING, mapping);

configurationBuilder.indexing().withProperties(props);

Thanks for reporting this, you should not be forced to use the programmatic configuration.

Could you open an issue on JIRA please?
