1. Re: How to specify multiple datasource.xml files in Wildfly8.2
abhinav.gupta01 May 8, 2015 12:33 AM (in response to jboss234)If requirement is to support only one Database at a time ( based on installation ) ; then you can have two copies of standalone.xml file.
In our case we support oracle and Derby , so we keep two files as standalone-oracle.xml and standalone-derby.xml ,during installation based on userInput , setup just rename one of this file to standalone.xml.
May be some other good options are available as well.

jboss234 May 8, 2015 2:47 PM (in response to abhinav.gupta01)From standalone.xml I can see that datasource jndi-name referred using "java:jboss/datasources/ExampleDS" instead of that can I refer it using " java:jboss/jdbc/ExampleDS"

7. Re: How to specify multiple datasource.xml files in Wildfly8.2
sanjay05222 May 8, 2015 6:16 PM (in response to jboss234)you can have more than one datasource configured in single standalone.xml , as long as they have different JNDI , I believe jdbc was the old naming convetion used , the main thing is that for Jboss they are all actually DataSources intead of jdbc . I think its more of naming conventioned align to the object type rather than the name of the api used underneath.
hope this helps.
thanks
