jameslivingston May 4, 2015 6:07 PM (in response to durgarajnarendra)Right, but what does that actually mean?
* Do you want to download a copy of the deployment which you have uploaded via a management interface?
* Do you want a copy of the application's internal data (which would be application specific)
* Something else?

4. Re: How to take application backup in jboss eap 6.3 ?
wdfink May 6, 2015 2:21 AM (in response to durgarajnarendra)Question is quite generic.
It depends on the server and deploy mode you use. If you use management the content is stored internal. So I would copy standalone (or domain) configuration and data.
If you copy the applications to standalone/deployments folder you need to backup this one, but here I did not understand the question.

6. Re: How to take application backup in jboss eap 6.3 ?
wdfink May 9, 2015 12:36 PM (in response to durgarajnarendra)1 of 1 people found this helpfulIn domain mode (or standalone with managed deployments) the deploy artifacts are stored in domain/standalone XML file with a SHA ID, in domain mode each server-group will reference the deployment.
The artifacts (jar/ear/war files) are located in the domain/content folder with the SHA ID, not with the real name.
But you should consider that the server will not start if there is a inconsistence between XML and content folder. If an application is not found the server will not start. Slave HC will have only applications which are needed for local servers.
