JBoss EAP and EE7. When?

Hello.

Is there any information, when AS or EAP will be certificated as EE7 application server?

At now we're using Wildfly and it works great, but the application server without commercial support it's bad idea in some cases.

That's why it's very interesting, when commercial products will support EE7.

I don't believe there is an official date set. There are only rumors. However, at Red Hat Summit there is a talk called "Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7 roadmap & new features". Hopefully, there we will get a concrete roadmap about EAP 7.

Seems, I've found slides of the summit (talking about JBoss EAP 7 roadmap and new features).

It's pity, but nothing except "1.Usual caveats apply - Features and release dates can and will change" is talking about some kind of terms.

Maybe someone knows more than I do? (About Jboss EAP 7, I mean )

I don't know any more than you, but according to the roadmap they presented at the RedHat Summit it says that EAP7 will contain Active MQ Artemis. This isn't coming until WildFly 10 so that puts the date at least after October. I would guess we don't see it until 2016.

As the planning is still ongoing there are no exact dates when EAP7 will be available. But the release will be definitive not in 2015.
