1. Re: Connecting to EAP server on RHEL virtual guest on laptop
maxandersen Jun 30, 2015 1:44 AM (in response to breathless)Hi Anthony,
Before I go into details, are you sure you need to use a virtual machine running RHEL to do what you want to do ?
You could make things much simpler and just run your EAP server locally on your machine rather than having to go through the layer of virtual machine ?
If you really do want to use a virtual machine then look at this how-to article: http://tools.jboss.org/documentation/howto/configure_remote_server.html

breathless Jul 1, 2015 2:46 PM (in response to maxandersen)Hi Max,
I only have a windows laptop, the requirements for EAP server suggest some server version of the operating systems. Would it make a difference to use windows 8.1 instead of Windows server 2012? It would only be myself who'd be using it. I tried previously with EAP directly on my laptop and got a weird error which made me think that it was due to the O/S.
Thanks for the link, I'll give it a look and see how I get on.
Regards,
Anthony
