Btw, any reason why you went with rhino and not nashorn.
or utilize javax.script which comes with JDK6+
you get some nice tools ootb with never jdks, see http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/java/jf14-nashorn-2126515.html
but in general i like the idea.

fcorneli Jul 28, 2015 12:55 PM (in response to ctomc)Hi Tomaz,
I stick with Rhino for the moment as this is out-of-the-box available on our CentOS 6/7 servers and via org.mozilla.javascript.tools.shell.Main you can easily invoke your js without any need to compile some Java "invoker" yourself.
Once Java 8 is the default, I'll certainly give jjs a shot.
Weird that you don't find more of such devops tools for JBoss.
For monitoring for example, I also had to patch collectd myself:
curl_json: Digest authentication support · Issue #328 · collectd/collectd · GitHub
Isn't there any wiki or so listing such JBoss AS/EAP oriented devops tools?
Kind Regards,
Frank.
