1. Re: Does Wildfly support java 1.8?
ctomc Aug 20, 2015 4:45 PM (in response to lioil1)Yes WildFly 8 and newer is java EE7 (not just EE6) certified and runs on Java 8.
Most of support for Java8 came with WildFly 8.0, and it only got better with every next version.
WildFly 10, which is currently beta, requires JDK 8 as minimum to run.
In general see news on our website WildFly News · WildFly where we talk about all new stuff every release gets.

valsaraj007 Jul 25, 2017 1:01 AM (in response to ctomc)Do we need any settings for better performance of wildfly 8 in java 8? When checked Wildfly 8.2.1 on Java 7 & Java 8, the performance on Java 8 was not better.

ecabrerar Jul 25, 2017 9:31 AM (in response to valsaraj007)Hi,
WildFly 10.1 is the latest release, you should try with that version.
There were a lot enhancements between wildfly 10.1 and the early releases.
https://issues.jboss.org/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12313721&version=12331186
We swap from weblogic 12c to wildfly 10.1 in production and we don't have performance issues.
Good Luck!
