We would like to override some modules from the base layer. In our case we would like to upgrade the saaj jar. We know that modules in a custom distribution layer can override modules in the base layer. But does this also work for modules directly in the modules/ folder (and not in a layer)?
We know we could in theory directly change the module in the base layer but we would like to leave it unmodified.
