1. Re: Arquillian plugin for Eclipse Mars?
snjeza Nov 4, 2015 11:20 AM (in response to sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com)If the Configure menu doesn't contain the Add/Remove Arquillian Support menu, the arquillian plugins aren't started for some reason.
Could you check if they are started when you:
- open the Console view
- select the Host OSGi Console from the view's menu
- enter "ss arquillian"
You should get three arquillian plugins in the ACTIVE state.

2. Re: Arquillian plugin for Eclipse Mars?
sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com Nov 4, 2015 12:28 PM (in response to snjeza)This is what I get:
osgi> ss arquillian
"Framework is launched."
id State Bundle
osgi>
Hence the plugins are not active. The JVM used is 1.8.0_66 64-bit on windows.

Try to install/reinstall it.

snjeza Nov 4, 2015 3:50 PM (in response to sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com)Try to start Eclipse with the -debug -consoleLog options.
In the error log you can see why the arquillian plugins haven't been started.

sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com Nov 4, 2015 5:24 PM (in response to snjeza)Didn't tell anything neather, but a clean install with Eclipse 32-bit and just installing JBoss Tools + Arquillian it does show up
Still doesn't work to start the test though, it just terminates immediatly.

You have to use either 32-bit or 64-bit Eclipse/JDK and you mustn't mix them up. As to the arquillian plugin, it is the same for both of the versions.

Could you attach an example of your project?

8. Re: Arquillian plugin for Eclipse Mars?
sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com Nov 6, 2015 4:50 PM (in response to snjeza)They were installed in separate folders. After removing every piece of eclipse and doing a clean install of 64-bit version with only JBoss Tools so far the Arquillian plugin now works and I am able to launch testcases
However, to get the breakpoints to work I need to first launch the JUnit test and then manually launch another debug session towards the managed wildfly instance. That occurs a bit odd to me as nowhere that is mentioned in the guides I've read.

snjeza Nov 7, 2015 7:32 AM (in response to sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com)You are probably using a remote container.

10. Re: Arquillian plugin for Eclipse Mars?
sverker.sverker.abrahamsson.com Nov 10, 2015 4:07 PM (in response to snjeza)No, I'm using a managed container. My impression from reading the getting started guide was that the plugin would handle the connecting to the instance after starting it since it isn't mentioned anywhere that it has to be done as an additional step.
