'Tools' does not appear after clicking 'Project Authoring' in BRMS 6.1.0

Hi,

I am very new to using BRMS, as per the instructions in the workshop tried to set up the coolstore. However, in lab 03 when a Domain Model needs to be created, I am not able to find the 'Tools' option in the menu bar after clicking 'Project Authoring'.

Have checked the version I am supposed to use and it seems to be right (BRMS 6.1.0).

Can someone please shed some light as to how it disappeared or am I using the wrong version or is it some bug or any other RCA.

I am also getting the same problem. I did not get any help in google. Could some one help me on this.

Hi,

You are comparing BPMS/BRMS 6.0.x console with BPMS/BRMS 6.1 console, because of this you find Tools menu is missing.

In BPMS/BRMS 6.0.x release you can find "Project Editor" and "Data Moduler" options under "Tools" menu. In BPMS/BRMS 6.1 release these options are moved under different menus and "Tools" menu is removed. You can find "Project Editor" button under project structure and "Data module" is renamed to "Data Object" and moved under "New Item".
