Is ti possible to define a datasource inside a war/ear file

Hi all,
I'd like to know if it's possible to embed the .ds file (containing the Datasource definition) at application level, that is inside a war/ear file
instead of putting it in the deploy folder....

Yes. In your EAR file, create a jboss-app.xml file containing the following:

<jboss-app>

 <module>
 <service>myapp-ds.xml</service>
 </module>

</jboss-app>

Place this jboss-app.xml in the META-INF folder of your EAR. And place the -ds.xml at the root of the EAR.
