We are trying to implement log4j's advanced functionality in Jboss-5.1.2 GA application server.
It seems like, JBoss-5.1.2 GA application server is using log4j.1.2.14 version.
This version of log4j is providing only size based file rolling appender, but we need to implement below functionality in Jboss-5.1.2 GA application server.
- Create log files once file size limit exceed.
- Compress the backup log file using gzip.
- Automatic deletion, 60 days older gzip file.
Could you please provide us a solutions to implement above functionality using log4j in Jboss-5.1.2 GA application server.
